A box of bee colonies includes queen bee, drone and worker bees. The responsibility of queen bee is lay eggs and they can lay eggs for a lifetime after mating. Queen bee will lay eggs at male hive room which not undergo fertilization process (non-fertilized eggs) developed into a male bee (parthenogenesis), the responsibility of the male bees are breeding offspring. In addition, the queen bee will lay eggs at the worker hive and undergo fertilization process (fertilized eggs) developed into worker bees and queen bee. Worker bees responsibilities are to collect pollen, honey, nesting, feeding larvae, cleaning the environment, defending the bee and so on.
一箱蜂窝包括蜂后/蜂王，雄蜂和工蜂。蜂王是由工蜂建造王台用受精卵培育而成的，蜂王的任务是产卵，它们一次交配后可以终身产卵。蜂王在雄蜂房里产未受精卵发育成雄蜂（孤雌生殖），雄蜂的职责是和蜂后繁殖后代，交配结束后几分钟内死亡。除此之外，蜂王在工蜂房和蜂王房里产受精卵发育成工蜂和蜂王。工蜂的任务是采集花粉、蜂蜜、筑巢、饲喂幼虫、清洁环境、保卫蜂群等。
